Lee Hyun-jung first rose to prominence by leading Samil Commercial High School to five different titles.
He continued his development at the NBA Global Academy in Australia, training with elite prospects for over a year. At Davidson College, he made his mark in NCAA Division I, averaging 13.5 points while achieving the prestigious “180 Club” status with shooting splits of 50.8% FG, 44.2% 3PT, and 90.0% FT.
In the 2024–2025 season, he helped lead his team to an NBL championship, further solidifying his growing career.
Coming from a basketball family, Hyunjung Lee was destined for the game. His father, Lee Yoon-hwan, is a legendary figure in Korean basketball, having coached at Samil Commercial High School for over 30 years. His mother, Sung Jung-Ah, is an Olympic medalist and one of the most successful female basketball player from South Korea. And his older sister is currently studying in the United States.
